I began taking Pilates classes to strengthen my dancing while living in New York City. I found very quickly that Pilates not only improved my dancing, but also improved how I looked and felt. Pilates improved my flexibility, range of motion, posture, body symmetry and abdominal strength. Most importantly, Pilates gave me an education in body awareness. As dancing shifted from being the focus of my life, it became clear to me that I should teach others the benefits of Pilates. I see Pilates as cross training for life. It’s what keeps me healthy for my active lifestyle and the every day care of my two young sons. I love teaching people to use their body smarter and more efficiently.
