After teaching STOTT PILATES® for nearly 10 years, my teaching style and skills have evolved. I currently specialize in Athletic Conditioning, Golf & Tennis Conditioning, Pre & Post Natal, Injury Prevention and Recovery, Osteoporosis, and Instructor Training.
My clients have become stronger and smarter with their bodies, both inside and out of the Pilates studio. Many of my clients are athletic men who benefit from the cross-training, core strength, flexibility, and stability components of Pilates. For the ladies, I still love keeping our backsides, core, upper body, and bones strong and beautiful! One of my favorite things about teaching Pilates is motivating and challenging people to do things they didn’t think they could do as adults. When we are children we play and challenge ourselves to do things, like hang upside down from the monkey bars. As adults we forget to play, and in the Pilates studio we get a chance to do that again. When my clients practice and get really good at walkovers on the Cadillac, for example, we tune into that child-like playfulness and get a chance to overcome small fears, like hanging upside down.
And of course there is my passion for not just teaching other Pilates Instructors, but mentoring and helping them grow and develop into the best Pilates Instructors they can be. The variety in my teaching keeps me motivated and able to inspire clients and Instructors in their health and fitness!
